About This Role
CAE (CAE Simuflite) is hiring a BE-400 Instructor Pilot in Orlando to deliver simulator and ground-school training to business-aviation pilots using CAE-approved curriculum. Instructors lead clients through licenses, type ratings, certificates and pilot qualifications, conduct pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings, and after roughly 1.5 years may qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. The role follows FAA and CAE regulatory standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver flight-simulator and ground-school training in line with regulatory standards, CAE curriculum and customer requirements.
- Act as a subject-matter expert guiding clients through all phases of training, including simulator, flight and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, certificates and pilot qualifications.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings and complete training records and other administrative tasks.
- Support curriculum and courseware development as needed and, after approximately 1.5 years and based on business needs, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.
- Training may include international travel and extended stays.

Requirements
- an unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating
- 3,000+ hours of total flight time
- 2 to 5 years of job-relevant experience
- a high-school diploma or state-issued equivalent
- excellent spoken and written English
- strong listening and presentation skills
- authorization to live and work in the United States
- basic computer proficiency
- and the ability to take part in CAE's DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
Preferred Qualifications
- an associate or bachelor's degree
- an existing instructor qualification or type rating
- FAR Part 135 experience
- a BE-400 type rating
- previous teaching or training experience
- previous experience as a Part 142 instructor and/or Training Center Evaluator
- and experience flying business aircraft.
