About This Role
Ameriflight LLC is a Part 135 cargo airline operating a fleet of more than 120 aircraft for regional express airfreight services. This full-time Captain position is based at the BE-1900 outstation in Klamath Falls, Oregon (LMT), operating to Portland (PDX) on weekday evenings and returning the following morning. The PDX layover is provided in a shared apartment, the schedule blocks approximately 50 hours per month, and the starting salary is $87,006 annually.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain will operate the BE-1900 in Ameriflight's Part 135 cargo operation from the Klamath Falls outstation.
- The assigned operation runs to Portland on Monday through Friday evenings, with the return flight taking place the following morning and a shared apartment provided for the PDX layover.
- The position is expected to block approximately 50 hours per month and supports Ameriflight's regional express airfreight services for cargo integrators, manufacturers, aircraft operators, and freight forwarders.

Requirements
- Applicants must meet the FAR 135.243(c) requirements for serving as pilot in command under IFR and have 1,800 hours total time, 1,000 hours PIC, 500 hours cross-country time defined point to point, 250 hours multi-engine, 100 hours turbine PIC with multi-engine experience preferred, 100 hours instrument time including at least 50 hours in an aircraft, and 100 hours night time.
- Previous FAR 121 or FAR 135 experience is required, along with an Instrument Proficiency Check or FAR 121/135 recurrent training within the past six months.
- Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument ratings plus high-performance and complex endorsements.
- The position requires a First or Second Class Medical, with a First Class Medical required for international operations, an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, a current passport, English proficiency, eligibility to work in the United States and travel unrestricted in and out of the United States, airport badging eligibility including a TSA security background check, and a valid driver's license meeting all company insurance criteria.
