BA Cityflyer is recruiting a permanent, full-time Direct Entry Captain for its passenger operation, with the vacancy listed at Edinburgh Airport. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for putting the customer first and delivering a high-quality flight experience for BA Cityflyyer's business and leisure passengers.
- The role requires flexible work within a close-knit team supporting a dynamic seven-day-a-week operation, flying business, charter and leisure services on a varied roster that includes day trips, overnight stops and tours.
- Captains operate the Embraer 190 from London City Airport across a diverse European network and are expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong flying skills, adaptability and industry-leading customer service in a demanding operating environment.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a current UK CAA Part-FCL ATPL(A), or be able to convert an eligible licence to a UK licence through CAA EASA transfer-process route 5 or 6. They must hold a current aircraft type rating and have at least 4,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 hours as PIC on a commercial multi-crew jet or turboprop aircraft. All 1,500 PIC hours must have been flown on aircraft with an MTOW of at least 20,000 kg, and PICUS time is excluded. Candidates also need ICAO English proficiency at Level 6, a valid multi-engine instrument rating and a valid Class 1 Medical that will remain valid for six months after joining. An E-Jet type rating and current employment as a Captain are desirable but not essential. Applicants must upload their licence, Class 1 Medical and the final three pages of their logbook
