About This Role
TUI Airline is recruiting non-type-rated B737 First Officers for permanent positions at UK bases, with the base confirmed when an offer is made. Pilots operate across a diverse holiday route network and work closely with cabin and ground teams to deliver safe, smooth journeys and excellent customer service. Experienced Captains provide active mentoring, and the airline offers ongoing training, career development and opportunities to pursue roles beyond flying. The working arrangement combines full-time summer flying with part-time winter working and 13 weeks off across the period; applicants must meet Zero Flight Time Training eligibility requirements and already have unrestricted UK work rights.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a B737 First Officer across TUI's diverse route network, helping deliver safe, smooth flights and memorable holiday journeys.
- Work closely with cabin crew and ground teams, become familiar with TUI's ways of working and contribute to a customer experience supported by strong flying skills, sound judgment and excellent service.
- Demonstrate calm, capable leadership and work effectively within the pilot team in an environment where safety is the top priority.
- Take on significant First Officer responsibilities while receiving active mentoring from experienced Captains to support career progression.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an unrestricted, valid UK CAA-issued CPL with ATPL theory credits, a valid UK CAA Class 1 Medical and at least ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4. They must have completed an MCC course in accordance with FCL.735.A and Advanced UPRT training in accordance with FCL.745.A. Eligibility for Zero Flight Time Training under FCL.730.A is mandatory: candidates must have completed at least 500 hours of flight time or 100 route sectors on a multi-pilot turbojet aeroplane certificated to CS-25 standards or an equivalent airworthiness code, or on a multi-pilot turboprop aeroplane with a maximum certificated take-off mass of at least 10 tonnes or a certificated passenger seating configuration exceeding 19 passengers. Applicants need a valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel and the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restrictions
- visa sponsorship is unavailable. They must pass pre-employment and airport security background checks needed for an airport ID, be at least 1.58 m (5 ft 2 in) tall and be able to swim at least 25 m. While on standby, they must be able to report to their home base within a maximum commuting time of 90 minutes. Rosters vary significantly with no fixed pattern, and commuting contracts are not offered. Applications are accepted online only.
