Skyborne Airline Academy seeks B737 Flight Simulator and Ground Instructors for its ATP CTP training program in Miami Springs, Florida. Requires current FAA ATPL with CFI certificate and B737-800 type rating. This is a flexible, part-time contractor role ideal for active pilots, Part 135/91 operators, or retired pilots seeking supplemental income.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with fixed-wing, airplane category, multi-engine class rating
- Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI, CFII, or MEI)
- B737 type rating required
- Current in B737-800
- Minimum 2 years experience as pilot-in-command at FAA Part 121, Part 135, or Part 91 air carrier, OR 2 years as second-in-command at Part 121 air carrier
- No history of accidents or license suspensions
- Fluency in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to accept or decline instructional opportunities based on personal availability
- Commitment to high-quality instruction and positive client experience
- Ability to function effectively in a high-paced training environment
- Ability to adapt to changing training needs
- Experience as line check airman or simulator instructor preferred but not required
