About This Role
Senior Captain (Pilot in Command) in Yum! Brands' corporate flight department, holding ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and Part 91-compliant operation of the company's corporate aircraft. Beyond line flying, the role provides technical and cultural leadership - mentoring, coaching, and developing fellow flight department team members and fostering a safety-focused culture. Fleet type is the Embraer EMB-550 (Legacy / Praetor).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Yum! aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR 91, while working as part of a cohesive, fast-paced team.
- Plans and coordinates all aspects of trips assigned.
- Ensures company policy and regulatory requirements are complied with on flights assigned to act as a crew member.
- Serve as a mentor & positive role model for all team members by demonstrating adherence to policy and industry best practices.
- Provide feedback related to crew member performance or operational enhancements to Director, Aviation.
- Provides leadership to assigned functional teams within department.

Requirements
- Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate with at least two unrestricted Type Ratings
- the EMB-550 Type Rating is preferred. 5,000 hrs minimum flight time. 2,000 hrs minimum Jet PIC. Possess a valid 1st class Medical Certificate. No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with corporate executives, regulatory agencies, and department personnel. Possess a four-year college degree or an equivalent 10-year industry experience.
