About This Role
Kenn Borek Air is seeking experienced Captains for its DHC-6 Twin Otter fleet, flying charter, cargo, medevac, aerial survey, and polar support operations in remote and challenging environments. Seasonal rotational schedule (3 weeks in / 3 weeks out in Canadian spring/summer) with opportunities for 2-4 month Antarctica deployments. No relocation required; company provides all travel and accommodations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the DHC-6 Twin Otter on charter, cargo, medevac, aerial survey, and polar support missions in remote and extreme environments (High Arctic to Antarctica), working with a high degree of independence as part of a tight-knit team.
Requirements
- Valid Canadian ATPL (Aeroplane).
- Minimum 2,000 hours total time (2,500 hours preferred).
- Able to obtain a valid Transport Canada medical and security clearance.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining.
- Arctic, ski-equipped, off-strip, or remote-unimproved airfield experience is a strong asset.
- A PPC on the DHC-6 is not required - training will be provided for qualified candidates.
