About This Role
Air Transport International is recruiting a full-time First Officer to support the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. The position requires an unrestricted FAA ATP, 1,500 total flight hours, current first-class medical certification, and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Boeing 757/767 experience and recent flight activity are preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The First Officer assists the Captain with all duties related to the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Responsibilities include assisting the Pilot-in-Command with aircraft operation as delegated
- remaining familiar with and complying with FAA regulations, company manuals, flight procedures, operations bulletins, and other instructions relevant to the position
- helping the Pilot-in-Command prepare for departure and complete post-flight tasks
- completing documents and reports associated with flight operations
- and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Applicants must satisfy one of two qualification paths: either hold an unrestricted FAA ATP with a multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours including 500 multiengine hours, or hold an unrestricted FAA ATP with a multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours as a military pilot.
- Preferred qualifications include Boeing 757/767 experience and 100 hours of flight time within the last 12 months.
- Additional requirements include a current FAA first-class medical certificate, an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check, be able to qualify for and maintain a U.S.
- Government secret clearance, have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship, and hold a valid passport permitting worldwide travel.
- Applicants must also be able to communicate clearly with coworkers, stand, bend, reach, sit for extended periods, and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
