About This Role
EagleView, a leading provider of aerial imagery and property insights, is hiring an Assistant Chief Pilot to support the Chief Pilot in leading manned aerial survey flight operations. The role provides training, standardization, operational oversight and safety leadership for the line pilot group and serves as a primary operational point of contact for pilots. Full-time remote, travel up to 40% annually.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct and supervise ground and flight training of Line Pilots and Instructor Pilots
- Develop and manage a structured IOE programme with standardization and completion criteria
- Maintain training records, licence/rating tracking and upgrade readiness
- Provide operational oversight of daily flight activities including go/no-go decision support
- Coordinate with Maintenance on aircraft availability and Functional Check Flights
- Conduct routine audits of SOP and FOM compliance
- Monitor and analyse operational metrics and implement corrective actions
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) and promote a Just Culture
Requirements
- Minimum 2,500 hours total time
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine
- Minimum 750 hours cross-country
- Minimum 500 hours dual given, 100 hours in multi-engine
- Current CFI and MEI; CFI with minimum 2 years teaching experience
- MEI with instructing experience (minimum 100 hours)
- Minimum 2 years of aviation leadership experience
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit; valid USA passport and driver's licence
- Able to maintain a 1st or 2nd class FAA medical
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerial survey or aerial imaging operational experience
- Previous aviation management or Chief/Assistant Chief Pilot experience
- CFII
- Part 91 operations experience
