About This Role
Vietjet Air is recruiting 20 experienced cabin crew members through an AOC online interview process for a flexible working location, with applications open through 31 October 2026. The selection process consists of document screening, an online interview, and a grooming and BMI check, followed by AOC training for candidates selected by Vietjet. Applicants must meet the published gender-specific age, height and BMI standards, demonstrate English proficiency, have at least 300 total flight hours, and provide valid aviation and medical documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The advertised recruitment process consists of document checking, an online interview, and a grooming and BMI check. Candidates must attend the online interview in formal attire. For the grooming and BMI assessment, female candidates must wear a black knee-length skirt, white short-sleeve shirt, black shoes, and full makeup
- male candidates must wear trousers, a white short-sleeve shirt, and black shoes. Applications are submitted online, and candidates must bring original documents for verification at the recruitment session. Candidates who pass all interview rounds and are selected by Vietjet must complete AOC training and enter into the required training-bond and training-fee agreements.
Requirements
- The opportunity is open to all nationalities. Applicants must have at least a high-school diploma and meet the age limit of 31 years for female applicants and 35 years for male applicants. The posting requires at least 300 total flight hours. Height and BMI standards are gender-specific: female applicants must be at least 160 cm barefoot with a BMI between 18.5 and 22, while male applicants must be at least 170 cm barefoot with a BMI between 20 and 24. Applicants must provide a valid English certificate: TOEIC 500 or higher, or an equivalent qualification such as IELTS 4.0, TOEFL iBT 52, or a university degree majoring in English
- the certificate is to be provided within six months. Medical and qualification certificates must remain valid for at least two months at the time of recruitment, and applicants must be medically fit to meet cabin crew standards. Excellent English communication and presentation skills are required. No tattoos or scars may be visible while wearing the Vietjet cabin crew uniform, and makeup or plasters may not be used to cover them. The document checklist includes a valid identity card or passport, education certificate, English certificate, airline employee ID card, a valid CAAV or other civil aviation authority licence, medical and qualification certificates, a total flight-hour record, and recency or last-flight information. Candidates selected after all interview rounds must complete AOC training and sign the required training-bond and training-fee agreements.
