About This Role
Airbus Korea is hiring Synthetic Flight Instructors employed directly with Airbus Korea, with flexible commuting options (3/1, 6/2, 9/3, 1 month on / 1 month off). The role delivers all types of flight training on A320/A330 Full Flight Simulators and Airbus pilot training devices, ensuring airline crews can safely carry out all normal and emergency procedures to the required standard.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver training while adhering to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations
- instruct trainees on the various training devices
- provide an evaluation of the crews' progression
- produce a written report and grading of trainee performance at the end of each session
- determine the necessity to provide extra training to achieve the desired level of proficiency
- participate in the improvement and development of training documentation.
Requirements
- Hold valid/current ATPL for applicable aircraft type from recognized ICAO signatory country
- be type rated on applicable aircraft type
- 5 years Air Carrier experience
- Pilot in command of 2,000 hours Jet Transport category aircraft including 500 hours of on-type experience OR two years experience as a simulator instructor on Airbus aircraft.
