About This Role
Air Astana is seeking an Airbus Ground and Flight Simulator Instructor in Almaty to deliver ground and full-flight simulator (FFS) training to high standards. The position also maintains accurate training records, escalates substandard pilot performance, proposes corrections to operational and training documentation, and performs aircraft security inspections and access-control checks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct ground and FFS training to the highest standards.
- Ensure that training forms, certificates, and records are completed accurately and delivered promptly to training administration.
- Inform the respective FTM without delay when a pilot performs below standard during training or checking.
- Propose corrections for errors or discrepancies identified in the OM and other Air Astana training or operations documents.
- Comply with aviation security procedures and standards on board the aircraft, conduct quality pre-flight inspections for foreign and prohibited items, and carry out quality control of access to the aircraft.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid ICAO ATPL and have at least one year of airline experience.
- The stated minimum flight experience is 1,500 total flight hours and 500 hours on type.
- Applicants must also hold ICAO English proficiency Level 4 or above and demonstrate strong feedback skills, attention to detail, and decisiveness.
