About This Role
Airbus Beijing is seeking a full-time Synthetic Flight Instructor to join its Training Centre and deliver conversion training to airline flight crews transitioning to Airbus aircraft. The instructor will use A320 and A330 Full Flight Simulators, Airbus pilot training devices and classroom facilities to teach operational and technical subjects, ensuring crews can perform normal and emergency procedures safely and correctly to the standards required by airworthiness authorities and Airbus. The role includes trainee evaluation, written performance reporting, additional-training decisions and contribution to training-documentation development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver training in accordance with Airbus Flight Training Operations policies, standards and standardization requirements.
- Instruct trainees using the various training devices, including Full Flight Simulators, Airbus pilot training devices and classroom training.
- Evaluate each crew's progression, produce a written report and grade trainee performance at the end of every session.
- Determine whether additional training is needed to achieve the required level of proficiency, and participate in improving and developing training documentation.
- The training must prepare airline crews to perform all required normal and emergency procedures safely and correctly and to reach the required standard of proficiency.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold or have held an EASA ATPL and possess a valid EASA SFI or TRI Authorization issued by the same authority as the ATPL.
- They must have 1,500 hours on the A320, A330 or A350, including 100 hours as Pilot in Command on any Airbus FBW aircraft, as well as simulator-instructor experience as an SFI or TRI on the A320 or A330.
- Candidates must also be able to teach, brief and debrief in fluent English.
