About This Role
Conair Group Inc. is the world's largest privately owned fixed-wing aerial firefighting company, operating a fleet of 80 specialized aircraft and creating 16 different airtanker types. The company is recruiting experienced pilots for the 2027 fire season and beyond to operate firefighting aircraft on domestic and international missions supporting government agencies in Canada, the United States, Australia and France. The role involves safe, precise and efficient flying in challenging conditions, including mountainous terrain, within a culture focused on teamwork, safety, service and personal growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Conair aircraft on firefighting missions both domestically and internationally.

Requirements
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or have the legal right to work in Canada, be able to obtain the work visas needed for international firefighting assignments, hold a valid Canadian driver's licence and passport, and commit to residing in Canada during the fire season. A valid Canadian ATPL is preferred
- CPL-only applicants may be considered only if their overall experience is extraordinary and they are close to achieving the ATPL. Candidates must be able to obtain a Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate, have at least 2,000 hours of total flight time, at least 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience, at least 250 hours flying in mountainous terrain, and recent flying experience within the last 12 months. For seaplane or tailwheel aircraft positions, the posting additionally specifies either 500 hours of PIC time on a seaplane in a commercial operation or 200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft. A lack of seaplane or tailwheel experience will not preclude consideration for other applicants.
