About This Role
Skyborne Airline Academy seeks A320 Flight Simulator and Ground Instructors for its ATP CTP Training Program in Orlando, FL. This is a flexible, part-time contractor role ideal for active airline pilots, Part 135/91 pilots, or retired pilots. Requires FAA ATPL, CFI certificate, and A320 type rating.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with fixed-wing, airplane category, multi-engine class rating
- Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI, CFII, or MEI)
- A320 type rating required
- Minimum 2 years experience as pilot-in-command at FAA Part 121, Part 135, or Part 91 air carrier OR 2 years experience as second-in-command at Part 121 air carrier
- Must be current
- No history of accidents or license suspensions
- Ability to accept or decline instructional opportunities based on personal availability
- Experience as line check airman or simulator instructor preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality instruction and positive client experience
- Ability to function effectively in high-paced training environment
- Ability to adapt to changing training needs
- Fluency in English
