Danish Air Transport (DAT) is seeking an experienced A320 Chief Pilot to ensure high safety and operational standards. The role involves overseeing aviation safety, managing operational manuals, and leading the Airbus flight crew. The position is based in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Requirements
- Hold or have held a valid flight crew license with associated ratings appropriate to the type of operations conducted under the AOC
- 2000 hours as PIC on Airbus family aircraft
- Practical experience in the application of aviation safety standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of AOC holder’s operations specifications, applicable EU regulations, and related requirements
- Appropriate management experience, ideally in a comparable organization
- Strong understanding of EASA rules and regulations
- Expertise in aircrew rostering and Fatigue Management processes
- Excellent people management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle complex issues, time pressure, and maintain high standards
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Relevant experience within DAT or the airline industry in an equivalent position is an advantage
