About This Role
CAE is seeking a part-time ATP/CTP 737 simulator and ground-school instructor for its training department in Eagan, Minnesota. The instructor will lead clients through training, coach pilots, apply CRM-focused instruction, adapt sessions to diverse trainee needs, and provide a high standard of customer service. The position is on call and fixed term, with an expectation of 8 to 10 available days per month; scheduling is based on business needs and the instructor's submitted availability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ATP/CTP 737 simulator and ground-school instruction within CAE's training department and lead clients through their training.
- Coach and support trainees while applying CRM principles, create a welcoming and effective learning environment, communicate across spoken and written channels, and tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base.
- Deliver continuous customer-focused service, maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements, and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- The position also requires meeting the listed physical demands, including frequent climbing and prolonged stationary work.

Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to live and work in the United States and hold an unrestricted ATP certificate with a 737 type rating. The role requires at least two years of Part 121 experience, basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs, participation in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program, and the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written formats at all organizational levels. Candidates should demonstrate professional character, the ability to create a welcoming learning environment, strong attention to detail, accurate and timely recordkeeping, continuous customer commitment, and the ability to tailor training to a diverse customer base. Preferred qualifications include previous simulator-instructor experience, aviation training, coaching or instructional experience, experience delivering instruction in a customer-focused training environment, and experience adapting learning approaches to individual trainee needs.
