About This Role
Carson Air, the sole provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services in British Columbia, is seeking an experienced IFR Captain to operate their modern King Air 360 fleet. The company operates essential medevac services under a long-term contract with BC Emergency Health Services and is recognized for excellence in safety, maintenance, and operations over 25+ years. Candidates require a minimum ATPL with preferred qualifications of 3000+ total hours and 1000 hours PIC on fixed-wing aircraft, including 1000 hours multi-engine time. Requirements
- Valid ATPL rating
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time preferred
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC on fixed-wing aircraft preferred
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine flight time preferred
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine PIC time preferred
- Minimum 100 hours on King Air 360 type preferred
- Minimum 50 hours PIC on type preferred
- Minimum 500 hours mountain flying experience preferred
- BE30 type rating preferred
- Group 1 Pilot Medical Certificate (Transport Canada)
- No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
- Ability to obtain TSA clearance
- Approval for simulator training in the United States
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills and Internet familiarity
- Fluency or proficiency in English language
- Must sign Training Bond Agreement if lacking current BE30 type rating
- Aviation diploma preferred
