Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Visiting Ground School Instructor. This role will transition to an Instructor Pilot position, teaching private, instrument, and commercial pilot levels in compliance with TCOs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an aviation-related field
- Current FAA Flight Instructor certificate (CFI)
- Minimum FAA Second Class Medical
- Proficient with aircraft piloting skills including familiarity with and the ability to perform required flight maneuvers and procedures at the commercial pilot level
- Knowledge of and ability to apply effective instructional knowledge and technique in the classroom and in the airplane
- Knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Academic, administrative, operational procedures and requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced and noisy environment while exercising sound judgment at all times
