General Atomics is seeking a UAV Instructor/Operator to serve as an instructor operator for US Army field support. The role involves aircrew training, evaluations, and sustained flight operations. Requires 1000 hours in OSGCS/UGCS with 400 PIC hours.
Requirements
- Education/formal training equivalent to a four-year technical degree or trade school equivalency
- Nine or more years in UAV operation or aviation
- Equivalent professional or military experience in UAV or aviation may be substituted in lieu of education
- Familiarity with Army forms, records, and publications
- Familiarity with Contractor Flight and Ground Operations procedures and records (DCMA 8210)
- Extensive understanding of UAV and FAA principles, theories and concepts
- Graduate of DA or DES IO Course for MQ-1C Gray Eagle
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of computer operations and applications
- Ability to maintain an FAA Class II flight physical
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as required
- At least 1000 hours in a OSGCS/UGCS
- 400 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- US Citizenship required
