KLM is seeking a Type Instructor for their Tech Training Center at Schiphol to deliver technical training on aircraft systems (B737, B777, B787, A320, A330, A350) to maintenance workers. Requires HBO-level education in technical field or valid B1/B2 license with type ratings on at least two aircraft; fluent Dutch and English. KLM provides TOR certification training for new instructors within the first year.
Requirements
- HBO-level education in relevant technical field OR valid B1 and/or B2 license with type rating on minimum two of: B737, B777, B787, A320, A330, A350
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, spoken and written
- Didactic knowledge or willingness to develop it (KLM offers recognized TOR training)
- Affinity with IT and multimedia (Teams, MyLearning, PowerPoint, VR/AR)
- Structured approach and attention to quality
- Part-147/145 certification knowledge or willingness to learn
- Schiphol security pass eligibility (grey pass or orange with black frame)
- Ability to deliver training in both Dutch and English
- Knowledge of MTOE and regulatory compliance requirements
