About This Role
Air Tindi has an immediate full-time opening for a Twin Otter Captain based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Established in 1988, the company provides year-round charter and scheduled services across Northern Canada and elsewhere in Canada. The position involves work outside the Yellowknife base and requires travel to and from the aircraft. Air Tindi seeks a safety-oriented, motivated and hardworking team player who provides excellent customer service. The captain is responsible for safe aircraft operation, passenger safety, flight planning and maintaining the daily flight schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the Twin Otter and take responsibility for the safety of the aircraft and passengers on board.
- Monitor all equipment, work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the daily flight schedule, and carry out flight routing and flight planning.
- Keep relevant personnel informed of trip information and perform other duties as required.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License, a valid driver's license and a valid RAIC. Minimum flight experience is 2,500 hours total time, including 1,000 hours on floats. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, solid oral and written communication, the ability to work with others, a strong work ethic and a positive team attitude.
