About This Role
Star Air is seeking an experienced Transition Captain for the EMB-175 aircraft to join their operations team based in India. The airline is looking for qualified pilots with strong command experience and a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours and 1,000 PIC hours. Candidates must hold a valid ATPL license with an Instrument Rating and a Class 1 Medical Certificate, with prior Embraer E-Jet family experience being highly desirable. This transition captain role offers the opportunity to lead flight operations on the E175 aircraft within Star Air's growing regional airline operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate as Captain on EMB-175 aircraft
- Lead flight operations and crew management
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with all operational and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- Embraer E175 experience highly desirable
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid Instrument Rating (IR)
