About This Role
i3 is seeking an experienced RQ-4 Global Hawk Operator (Pilot) to support NASA flight operations at Edwards AFB, California. This role involves planning and executing ground and flight operations of NASA's RQ-4 Global Hawks as Pilot in Command, with responsibility for crew resource management, mission planning, and FAA compliance. Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with 500+ hours PIC, a current Class II Medical, and U.S. Citizenship with security clearance eligibility. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of aviation experience
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land privileges and Instrument Rating
- Minimum 500 hours flight experience as Pilot in Command
- Current Class II or higher FAA Medical Certificate
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Flight operations crew member experience
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and procedures
- Ability to write technical reports and relay operational data
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to tolerate deployed environment conditions including extreme weather
- Ability to perform extended flight operations up to 10 hours at high altitude
- Regular attendance and punctuality required
