About This Role
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Test Pilot to support F-35 Lightning II flight operations and potentially other Advanced Development Programs (Skunk Works) at their Fort Worth, Texas facility. The role involves pilot-vehicle interface development, flight test planning and execution, and demonstration flights on the F-35 tactical aircraft. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a military Test Pilot School background, minimum 1,000 hours of first-pilot time in tactical aircraft, and over 100 hours of F-35 experience. Duties & Responsibilities
- Pilot F-35 Lightning II on experimental, developmental, and production flight test missions
- Support Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) development and requirements development
- Develop and execute flight test plans and run cards
- Conduct flight test execution, analysis, and reporting
- Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of the F-35
- Conduct customer demonstration and test support flights
- Support market assist activities
- Potentially support Advanced Development Programs (Skunk Works) projects
- Collaborate with communications and public relations teams

Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Valid FAA Commercial Pilot (SE Land, Instrument Airplane) or Airline Transport Pilot certificate
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1,000 hours first-pilot time in tactical aircraft
- F-35 flying experience in excess of 100 hours
- Graduate of a military or recognized Test Pilot School (TPS)
- SECRET or higher security clearance (or eligible within 5 years)
- Valid U.S. passport
- Willing to travel
- Access to designated Lockheed Martin facility with special access requirements
