Airbus Operations seeks an experienced Test Pilot based in Hamburg for production test flights, customer acceptance flights, and maintenance checks. Requires EASA ATPL with Flight Test Rating and significant multi-crew transport aircraft experience including command. Position involves both ground and flight testing activities with occasional travel to Toulouse.
Requirements
- Graduate of recognised flight test training school
- Valid EASA ATPL (A) license
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Flight Test Rating (Category 1 or Category 2)
- Non-EASA qualifications must be converted to EASA prior to employment
- Previous experience in civilian or military flight test organisation
- English language at negotiation level
- Significant experience on multi-crew transport category aircraft
- Command experience on transport category aircraft
- Type rating on Airbus aircraft preferred (A320, A330/350, A340, or A380)
- Operational experience in airline environment preferred
- German language (beginner/intermediate) desirable
- French language (beginner/intermediate) desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel to other Airbus flight test bases (Toulouse, etc.)
- Critical thinking and proactive approach to safety
