Airbus is seeking an experienced Test Pilot to join the Engineering department at the Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. This role involves conducting ground and flight tests on A220 and A320 production aircraft, requiring 3000+ total hours and 1000+ hours of flight test experience. Requirements
- Graduate of EASA recognized flight test school (ETPS, EPNER, USNTPS, USAFTPS, NTPS, ITPS)
- Minimum 3000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1000 hours flight test pilot experience
- Current multi-pilot instrument rating with ICAO ATPL eligible for EASA ATPL conversion
- ICAO English Level 5 proficiency
- Recent Fly-By-Wire (FBW) experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid medical certification
- Ability to travel unaccompanied to international destinations (approximately 3 months)
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Refined communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Capable of working in dynamic, fast-paced environment independently and collectively
- Dependable, self-motivated, and accessible
- Vision: able to see and read computer screens and engineering drawings
- Hearing: able to participate in conversations and hear safety warnings
- Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings
- Able to carry and lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg)
- Able to sit for long periods in meetings
- Able to stand and walk through office and production areas
- Able to travel independently and at short notice
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves)
