About This Role
FlyDubai, a low-cost airline based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Technical Pilot for their Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet to lead the implementation and operational integration of the aircraft. This is a permanent position requiring extensive long-haul wide-body operations experience and strong expertise in safety management systems and project management. The role involves coordinating Standard Operating Procedures development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and integrating technical inputs across Flight Operations and other departments. The position offers visa sponsorship, a Dubai base location, and the opportunity to work with one of the Middle East's growing airline fleets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and entry into service of Boeing 787 fleet
- Provide sustained technical and operational expertise within Flight Operations
- Coordinate development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation
- Integrate inputs from all relevant departments
- Ensure effective application of Safety Management System (SMS) principles
- Ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness
- Support continued operational integration of B787 aircraft

Requirements
- Valid ATPL license (ICAO)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- 10-12 years of flying experience with qualifications
- Extensive long-haul operations experience on wide-body aircraft
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Expertise in safety management systems and project management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
