Jet2.com is seeking a Technical Knowledge Instructor – Ground to deliver high-quality ground school training to Jet2 Pilots in the classroom, virtual classroom, and fixed base flight simulator. Requires significant experience in the aviation industry and instructional techniques, with experience in Airbus operations being advantageous. The position is based in either Bradford, West Yorkshire or Cheadle, Stockport and follows a variable roster pattern.
Requirements
- Significant experience in the aviation industry (military or civilian environment)
- Experience as a pilot, navigator, flight engineer, or maintenance engineer
- Depth of experience in instructional techniques in a classroom or fixed base simulator environment
- Experienced in the creation and maintenance of training materials such as CBT, slide presentations and instructor guides
- Experience of Airbus operations and/or training is of focus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Administrative skills to accurately record training progression of students
- Experience of creating high quality training material using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Storyline 360, or other similar applications
- Considerate of time management
- Proven ability to manage taskings from either the Technical Training Manager or Flight Crew Training Managers
- Desire to work in a fast-moving dynamic environment
- Ability to monitor student progress through courses and identify students falling below the required standard
- Provision of remedial training
