About This Role
Synthetic Flight Instructor at Airbus Asia Training Centre (Singapore), responsible for instructing airline crew converting to Airbus aircraft on all operational, technical and performance aspects for a specific type (or types) using Flight Training Devices, Fixed Base Simulators and Full Flight Simulators, and assisting the Head of Training with related duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Instruct airline crew converting to Airbus aircraft on all operational and technical aspects for a specific type (or types) using Flight Training Devices, Fixed Base Simulators, Full Flight Simulators.
- Conduct theoretical training for type-rating courses, flight operations courses and aircraft performance.
- Adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardisation.
- Instruct the crews within the defined time limits.
- Evaluate the crews' progression and decide on the necessity of extra training.
- Participate in the review or development of training programmes.
- Conduct standardization duties if appointed as Airbus Standardizer.
- Assist with flight training audits and FSTD fly-outs and qualifications.
Requirements
- Hold or Have held a CPL (Commercial Pilot License) & Frozen ATPL (Air Transport Pilot License) or a Valid ATPL.
- Previous or current instructor/examiner experience an added advantage.
- Minimum 3000 hours as Pilot.
- Minimum 1500 hours on MPA (Multi Pilot Aeroplane).
- Minimum 1500 hours on Airbus FBW (Fly-by-Wire) aircraft type(s).
- Fluent in English, minimum English Language Proficiency Rating of 5.
- Airbus Pilot Instructor Course (APIC) an added advantage.
