About This Role
Pier Seven Aviation, an EASA and GCAA-approved flight training facility based in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI/SFE) for their A320 simulator training program. The position is available on both freelance and permanent basis for passionate instructors experienced in delivering high-quality simulator training to international airline clients. Candidates must hold a valid GCAA license with SFI/SFE rating, have demonstrated A320 simulator instruction experience within the past 2 years, and meet strict flight hour requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work in a world-class training facility with modern simulators, supporting both initial type rating and recurrent training programs for commercial aviation professionals across the Middle East-North Africa region.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in accordance with GCAA standards
  • Deliver simulator sessions compliant with ATO, aircraft manufacturer, and customer SOPs
  • Provide classroom instruction on aircraft systems
  • Deliver simulator flight instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certificates
  • Assist with courseware development to maintain current and accurate training programs
  • Complete client training records accurately and comprehensively
  • Complete duties as assigned by Training Manager
Requirements
  • Valid GCAA (UAE) license
  • Valid SFI/SFE rating
  • Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on A320
  • Minimum 3,000 total flight hours
  • ICAO English Level 5
  • A320 simulator instruction experience within past 2 years
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse international client base
