Energy Transfer is seeking a Chief Pilot for their Aerial Patrol operations. This role involves supervising patrol pilots, managing schedules, conducting training and proficiency checks, and contributing to the Safety Management System. Candidates should have a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating and significant flying experience.
Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating
- Certified Flight Instructor, Airplane Single; Instrument Airplane
- Valid FAA Medical Certificate Second Class
- Annual Company wellness physical also required
- Eight years of flying experience
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Pipeline patrol knowledge and experience preferred
- One year or more of supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Overnight travel throughout the year will be required
- Subject to extended workdays and/or workweeks, and call-out for emergency response
- Will be on call and required to carry a cell phone
- Candidate must have a proven safe driving record and provide documentation of past traffic violations upon request
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
