Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Senior Pilot for Global 6500 operations based at Fort Bliss, TX. This leadership role involves commanding complex missions, mentoring junior pilots, and conducting experimental test flights for the Department of Defense. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours with 1,500 hours PIC in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft (GTOW 12,500+), a Commercial Pilot License with instrument and multi-engine ratings, and a Second Class Medical Certificate. Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with instrument and multi-engine ratings
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft with GTOW 12,500 or greater
- FAA issued Second Class Medical Certificate
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of advanced aviation systems and regulations
- Ability to pass FAA/Military Pilot Background Check
- Pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening
- US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain required government authorizations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to hear and respond to audio cues in loud environments
