About This Role
Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Senior Pilot to lead complex ISR and special operations missions from Shalimar, Florida on a 60/30 rotational deployment basis. SNC is a global aerospace and national security leader providing ISR and aviation systems integration with end-to-end C4ISR capabilities. Candidates require a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours with 1,500 hours PIC in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft (GTOW 12,500+), a CPL with instrument and multi-engine ratings, Class II Medical Certificate, and an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with instrument and multi-engine ratings
- FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC in multi-engine turboprop, jet aircraft, or combination (GTOW 12,500+)
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required at start of employment
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Current/valid U.S. Passport with ability to obtain international visas
- Pass FAA/Military Pilot Background Check
- Pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening
- Pass pre-deployment medical assessment
- Able to deploy OCONUS on 60/30 rotation
- Willing to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules
- Able to deploy to extended OCONUS operating locations
- Fixed-wing aircraft hours only (no helicopter, simulator, or flight engineer time credited)
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of advanced aviation systems and regulations
