About This Role
United Airlines is hiring an Inflight Instructor/Evaluator to join their Inflight Services Training team, a dynamic role focused on delivering advanced qualification program (AQP) training and evaluations to flight attendants. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and the ability to maintain United flight attendant and instructor qualifications while conducting line checks, initial operating experience evaluations, and safety training. Candidates must be able to perform all physical duties of a flight attendant, including water drills in an aquatic center, and demonstrate excellent communication and crew resource management skills. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $66,500 to $86,616 annually, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and flight privileges.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to earn and maintain United Airlines flight attendant qualification
  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain United Airlines Inflight Training instructor program qualification
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to perform all duties and abilities required of a United flight attendant
  • Ability to repeatedly operate all aircraft door/window training devices and emergency equipment (lifting up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to perform instructor duties requiring standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, bending, and prolonged standing and walking
  • Able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as required
  • Able to work morning, day and nighttime hours
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Apple iPhone/iPad devices
  • Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Emotional Intelligence (EI) skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Commitment to United's Working Together Guidelines
  • Willingness to comply with flight attendant tattoo guidelines (no tattoos on head, neck, hands, or behind ears)
  • Able to board life raft in water during drills
  • Successful completion of interview required
