Cathay Pacific is seeking a Simulator Instructor for its Flight Operations Department in Hong Kong. This role involves training and evaluating flight crew members, developing comprehensive training programs, and ensuring high standards of operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have at least 1,500 hours of flying experience and previous experience as a training or check pilot.
Requirements
- Must hold or previously held an internationally recognized Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL (A))
- Have completed at least 1,500 hours of flying experience as a pilot in multi-pilot aircraft operations
- Should have previous experience as a training pilot or check pilot in commercial operations
- Desirable to have simulator instructor experience
- Successful pre-employment background check (including criminal records)
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Knowledge commensurate with providing modern airline initial and recurrent level training
- Possess the ability to mentor and train ab initio flight students
- Able to demonstrate suitable flying skills
- Able to demonstrate trainer skills to a high level of conduct
- Able to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
