About This Role
GlobalX, a Part 121 airline, is seeking an experienced A320 Type-Rated Simulator Instructor to join their training team in Miami, FL. This is a full-time position responsible for delivering simulator-based training to pilots on initial, recurrent, and upgrade programs while performing check airman duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5,000 hours of airline experience, strong simulator instruction background, and check airman certification. This role offers the opportunity to mentor pilots, develop training materials compliant with FAA regulations, and contribute to a professional aviation training environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5,000 hours of airline experience
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- A320 type rating required
- Strong background in simulator instruction
- Check airman experience required
- Ability to hold FAA 1st Class Medical preferred
- Training Center Evaluator (TCE) or Aircrew Program Designee (APD) certification preferred
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Miami, FL area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of A320 systems, procedures, and performance
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
