Contour seeks an experienced ERJ 135/145 Check Airman/Instructor to conduct simulator-based training and evaluations for Part 135 operations in Houston. Requires ATP certificate, PIC type rating on ERJ, and significant Part 135 experience. Full-time position with competitive benefits and 401(k) matching.
Requirements
- Minimum 23 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid ATP certificate
- ERJ-145/135 type-rated PIC with significant Part 135 experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Fluent in English (read, write, and understand)
- Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, and evaluate pilot performance to consistent standard
- Prior simulator instructor and/or check airman experience preferred
- Line check experience preferred
- Leadership/mentorship and/or training program development experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
- Pass 10-year work history review
- Pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Rockwell Collins FOS or similar crew scheduling software familiarity preferred
- Ability to work safely adhering to OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations
