About This Role
Jet Linx is seeking a Pilot in Command for Falcon 7X heavy-jet operations based in Teterboro, New Jersey. The role supports Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations and requires the pilot to live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the home base. The PIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of company aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities include managing duty, flight and rest times under company and regulatory requirements
- maintaining communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- keeping navigation charts, publications and company manuals current
- demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making
- and representing Jet Linx core values in all interactions.

Requirements
- The posting requires 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of total time in type, 250 hours of PIC time in type, 1,500 hours of total multi-engine time, 500 hours of total multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours of total turbine time and 300 hours of total instrument time.
- Applicants must maintain a current First Class Medical certificate, have or be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, hold a current passport, and have the ability to obtain an ATP.
- Other requirements include an FCC Restricted Radio License, successful completion of pre-employment and applicable random drug and alcohol testing, unrestricted travel to EU, Canadian and Caribbean destinations, participation in an FAA Pilot Record Database review, availability for nights, weekends and holidays, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months is preferred.
- The role also involves frequent work around aircraft and terminals and the ability to move up to 50 pounds.
