About This Role
Jet Linx is hiring a full-time Second in Command for Citation X super-midsize jet operations. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and supports the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The position is based in Spokane, Washington, requires residence or relocation within a two-hour call-out area, and includes operational, administrative, regulatory, travel, and physical responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Second in Command prepares for and supports the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include managing duty, flight, and rest periods under company requirements and applicable CFRs
- maintaining communication with the company about standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- keeping navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate
- demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making
- and representing Jet Linx core values in all interactions.

Requirements
- Applicants must have 1,500 hours total time, 500 hours total PIC time, 500 hours total multi-engine time, 100 hours total turbine time, and 150 hours total instrument time.
- The role requires an unrestricted ATP, a first-class medical certificate, an FCC Restricted Radio License, a current passport, eligibility to work in the United States, and the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment and required random drug and alcohol testing, travel without restriction to EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations, pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- The job also requires frequent work around aircraft and terminals and the ability to move up to 50 pounds.
