About This Role
Jet Linx is seeking a Pilot in Command for Citation X super-midsize jet operations based in Denver, Colorado. The full-time position supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, requires the pilot to live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour callout time of the home base, and involves preparing and safely conducting company aircraft operations in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. The PIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for operational communication, flight-documentation readiness, electronic flight-bag management, current charts and manuals, and sound decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Essential functions include managing duty, flight, and rest times under company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight-bag hardware and applications
- ensuring navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate
- demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making

Requirements
- The posting requires 3,500 hours of total flight time, 2,000 hours of total PIC time, 250 hours of PIC time in type, 1,000 hours of multi-engine time, 500 hours of multi-engine PIC time, 1,000 hours of turbine time, 1,000 hours of turbine PIC time, 300 hours of instrument time, 1,500 hours of jet time, and 500 hours of jet PIC time.
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Additional requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, a current passport, the ability to obtain an ATP, a first-class medical, and an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing when required, have unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations, and be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- The role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Most work is performed around aircraft and aircraft terminals, and the position requires frequent movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
