About This Role
Northern Territory Police Airwing seeks an experienced senior pilot based in Alice Springs to operate the Pilatus PC-12NG in support of police operations across remote and challenging Australian environments. Requirements
- Australian Commercial Pilot's Licence with Multi-Engine or Single-Engine Instrument Rating
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2000 total flight hours
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine command or turbine engine command
- Minimum 50 hours night flying
- Single pilot operations experience in charter or equivalent within last 6 months
- Sound knowledge of aviation regulations and aircraft technical information
- High level of flying skills and IFR proficiency
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and strong personal integrity
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in small team with limited supervision
- Willingness to be on call and work outside rostered hours
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures
- Understanding of Equity, Diversity and Occupational Health and Safety principles
- Pass Police criminal history and probity check
- Successful completion of exam and assessment flight
