About This Role
Worldwide Jet is seeking a Second in Command (First Officer) for various business jet aircraft including Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, and Hawker models. This Premier FAA Part 135 on-demand private charter operator is home-based in the United States and operates worldwide with a commitment to exceptional service and safety. Candidates must have a minimum of 1500 total flight hours (500 PIC), 200 turbine hours, and a valid ATP-qualified license, plus a unique requirement of holding an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license. The position offers a 15-on/13-off roster pattern with home-base flexibility (within 2 hours of a Gateway Airport), comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, per diem, performance bonuses, and opportunities for additional earnings through company programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, and Hawker aircraft on on-demand charter missions
- Perform pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations and safety procedures
- Manage flight operations and crew resource management
- Perform service operations outside and in various weather conditions
- Complete flight documentation and reports
- Maintain aircraft readiness and operational standards

Requirements
- Valid ATP-qualified FAA license
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours PIC time
- Minimum 50 hours in type
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 200 hours turbine time
- Minimum 75 hours total instrument time
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license (CRITICAL - mandatory)
- Valid Passport
- Experience in Part 91/135 operations
- Proficient in computer operations and software (Internet, Email, iPads, Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform service operations outside in extreme temperatures
- Able to manage rest and perform red-eye flights
- Ability to perform medium to heavy lifting
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to maintain unrestricted travel to/from Canada
- Must comply with US and EASA regulations
- Must reside within two hours of a Gateway Airport
