About This Role
NetJets seeks an experienced Second in Command (First Officer) to operate Praetor and Legacy jets across the UK's Northern and Midland regions from London base. As part of Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited, this role combines professional aviation operations with premium customer service delivery. Candidates must hold a full EASA ATPL with type rating on EMB-550 aircraft, minimum 1500 hours total flight time, and a valid Class 1 Medical. The position offers exposure to extensive global flight operations within NetJets' world-class business aviation fleet, with preference given to candidates with commercial aviation, military, or airline training backgrounds.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as Second in Command/pilot in right seat under command authority
- Carry out all duties allocated by the Aircraft Commander
- Ensure safety of all flights and passengers in accordance with Flight Manual and SOPs
- Focus on safe and efficient operation of the flight
- Confirm safe navigation and maintain continuous check of aircraft position and terrain clearance
- Execute all operational procedures and checklists per Airplane Flight Manual and Operations Manuals
- Report any occurrence, incident, fault, or defect that may affect airworthiness or safe operation
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time (Second in Command)
- Full EASA ATPL license
- Type rating on Praetor 500/600/Legacy 450/500 (EMB-550) required
- Valid European Union Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Fluency in English (preferably ICAO Level 6)
- Extensive global flight experience
- Strong commercial aviation background (EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment is an advantage)
- Military or airline training is an advantage
- Clear demonstration of excellent performance
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
