About This Role
Leidos, a major U.S. defense contractor, seeks a Second in Command (Co-Pilot) to support OCONUS (overseas) flight operations in the King Air 350. This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 1000 total flight hours with 500 hours PIC on multi-engine aircraft. Candidates must possess a valid FAA CPL with Instrument and Multi-engine ratings, Class 2 Medical, and critically, be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret-level security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). The role emphasizes aviation skill, safety awareness, and professionalism, with potential for deployment to current areas of operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate King Air 350 as Second in Command on OCONUS flight operations
  • Maintain high level of aviation skill and safety awareness
  • Demonstrate professionalism and customer focus in all operations
  • Support overseas flight operations as co-pilot
Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret-level security clearance
  • Minimum 1000 hours total flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours PIC time
  • Minimum 100 hours multi-engine time
  • Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Valid Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Valid Multi-engine Rating (ME)
  • Class 2 Medical Certificate
  • Valid passport and state driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience (or additional aviation experience in lieu of degree)
  • Ability to successfully meet all contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements
  • Ability to complete CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire
  • Eligible for OCONUS travel and deployment
