About This Role
Kraft Group is seeking an experienced Second in Command (First Officer) to support safe and efficient corporate flight operations in various Gulfstream aircraft (G700, G600, G500, G800) based near Boston, MA. The company operates Part 91 corporate aviation supporting their enterprise needs with a professional flight department. Candidates must have 3-5+ years aviation experience, minimum 2500 total flight hours, FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, and either a type rating or progress toward qualification in Gulfstream aircraft. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000-$270,000 annually with flexible scheduling, international operations, and on-demand corporate flight opportunities serving passengers with concierge-level service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Pilot in Command in safe planning and execution of all flight operations
- Coordinate with aviation crew, maintenance staff, and management to ensure safety and service standards
- Support aircraft operation in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations
- Monitor instruments and communicate with air traffic control
- Adhere to company procedures for Part 91 operations
- Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checklists, inspections, and systems monitoring
- Assist in completing flight, travel, and aviation documentation for international, domestic, and Caribbean operations
- Review weather, NOTAMs, and operational data prior to flights
- Communicate relevant flight information to the PIC and assist in decision-making regarding flight feasibility and safety
- Provide concierge-level service to passengers including luggage assistance, catering coordination, and ground transportation
- Confirm receipt of duty notices within 15 minutes and report expected arrival time
- Be available for all required Company and FAA training
- Support aircraft cleanliness, stocking, and readiness
- Participate in safety programs and standard operating procedure adherence
- Complete special projects and assignments as directed

Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours (military experience considered)
- Type rating or progress toward qualification in Gulfstream aircraft (G700, G600, G500, G800)
- Valid FAA medical certificate
- 3-5+ years aviation experience, preferably in corporate or on-demand flight operations
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
- Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Detailed knowledge of air traffic control procedures
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft systems
- International Flight Operations experience preferred
- Must reside within two hours of Bedford, MA hangar
- Ability to report on-site within 2 hours of notification

- Ability to work flexible schedule based on company needs
- HIPAA and confidentiality compliance knowledge
