About This Role
Solairus Aviation, a prominent business aviation operator based in Teterboro, New Jersey, is seeking a Second in Command (First Officer) for their Gulfstream G550 fleet. This permanent position requires a minimum of 1000 total flight hours with 500 hours PIC and 100 hours of jet time, along with a valid CPL and Instrument rating. Candidates must be willing to work on an on-call basis and reside within 2 hours of Teterboro or be prepared to relocate. The position does not provide visa sponsorship and includes comprehensive ICAO procedures training.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Gulfstream G550 aircraft on charter and corporate flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and aircraft system checks
- Perform crew resource management duties as First Officer
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete required flight logs and documentation

Requirements
- Valid FAA CPL (Commercial Pilot License)

- Valid Multi-Engine rating (ME)
- Minimum 1000 hours total flight time

- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 100 hours jet time
- Minimum 75 hours instrument time
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Capable of completing ICAO International procedures training annually
- Primary residence within 2 hours of Teterboro Airport (TEB) or willing to relocate
- G550 type rating training will be provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
