About This Role
Gary Jet Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified Second-In-Command candidate for a Challenger 300 based at Gary/Chicago International Airport (KGYY). The aircraft operates under both Part 91 owner operations and on-demand Part 135 charter, and the SIC will be in training for upgrade to PIC.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The SIC must be highly knowledgeable of the Company GOM, Flight Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Flight Manuals, and other instructions relevant to the role.
- Responsibilities include the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments, supporting and learning from the PIC while preparing for upgrade to PIC, and carrying out additional duties delegated from the PIC’s job description.
- The SIC reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and is functionally responsible to the PIC for assigned flights.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate, a Second Class Medical, and a current US Passport.
- Minimum requirements are 2,000 hours of total flight time, 200 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time, 1,000 hours of Second-In-Command (PIC) time, and 100 hours of instrument time.
- The preferred candidate lives within two hours of KGYY.
