About This Role
Jet Linx is hiring a Second in Command (First Officer) for its Cessna Citation X midsize jet, based in Hayward, CA, flying Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The SIC reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and helps prepare and ensure the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the base area, and are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their home base. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times to the requirements of both the company and the CFRs.
- Maintain communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications, and ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Convey strong, proactive decision-making skills and demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.

Requirements
- Minimum flight experience: 2,000 hours total time
- 500 hours total PIC
- 500 hours total multi-engine
- 100 hours total turbine
- and 150 hours total instrument. An ATP certificate is required, along with a current 1st Class Medical certificate and an FCC Restricted Radio License. Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license, provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., hold a current passport, and have unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries. They must be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing (safety-sensitive testing screens for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines). A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. The role involves working in and around aircraft and terminals and moving up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
