About This Role
Aitheras Aviation is seeking experienced SIC (Second in Command) pilots to join their Puerto Rico-based medical aviation team. The company has been a trusted provider of critical patient transport, organ procurement, and medevac services since 2005, with 90% of flights being life-saving missions. Candidates must have a minimum of 2500 hours PIC in multi-engine jets, 1000 hours SIC experience, and a current ATP certificate with CE-500 type rating. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Citation aircraft on patient transport and medical evacuation flights
- Conduct flight planning and aircraft preflight inspections
- Execute flights and maintain navigation following approved flight plans
- Maintain aircraft manuals, navigation charts, and checklists
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, ICAO standards, and company SOPs
- Assist with loading/unloading of medical equipment and patient care as required
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of aircraft
- Attend scheduled ground and simulator training to maintain proficiency
- Identify and report safety hazards
- Promote positive attitudes toward compliance and safety

Requirements
- Minimum 2500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) in Multi-engine Jet
- Minimum 1000 hours Second in Command (SIC)
- Minimum 200 hours actual instrument time
- Minimum 250 night hours
- Multi-engine land ATP certificate
- CE-500 type rating preferred
- CE-560 and CE-680 type ratings or Learjet 35/55 type ratings available
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Minimum 2 years multi-crew experience
- Unrestricted passport
- Must live within 45 minutes of Puerto Rico hub
